As faux leather is delicate, best recommended to hand wash or use a laundry net in a washing machine with the lowest setting/spin. Do not soak in hot water as due to the composition of the material, the leather will shrink.
Do not use iron to iron the pleats as the pleats will be gone forever! Only use steam iron if necessary and turn the item inside out.
